Have You Read Any Good Books Lately?

(1/2) > >>

Cheryl:
I have been doing a lot of reading.  Every winter I read my books about Laura Ingalls Wilder, and make plans to visit her Rocky Ridge Farm, but I have not gone yet. :D.   Someday I will get there.

In addition to the LIW books, I have some from the library.  Today I finished the new Patricia Cornwell book, Chaos.  I think I have read every book in this series going back quite a few years.  Another one I am ready to start is Arrowood by Laura McHugh.

We are supposed to have a couple of rainy days, so reading sounds just about perfect to me.   Any recommendations?

shedrinkzcoffee:
I just finished Tim Tebow's book, Shaken.  It was very good.

greyhoundgirl:
Just read the CJ Box Joe Pickett series over the end of December and first half of January.  It's about a rural game warden in Wyoming and follows him through the years as he solves mysteries.  I'm also a Patricia Cornwell fan from way back (early 90's!) but it sounds like you've read all of hers already.  Have you ever read the Sue Grafton series?  A is for Alibi an so forth?  Those also began way back and we're now nearing the end of the alphabet.  I like them because they're mysteries before computers and all the high tech stuff--just good old-fashioned detective work.  Now I'm on a non-fiction kick reading gardening stuff and watching youtube videos.

Cheryl:
I've read a couple of CJ Box books, but I don't remember which ones.  My mother likes them and has a few so I will check with her on those.

I like the mysteries too.  I've read the Sue Grafton ones up to a certain point, but can't remember which letter of the alphabet I got to. :D.  A couple more authors I like are Linwood Barclay and Harlen Coben.

Rooney:
Anyone still reading?  I never read for fun until last summer and have now read well over 30 books since then!  Got any good ones you can recommend or anything you have read recently?
