Maleesa, I always love your menus! It all sounds yummy! I have a menu made out somewhere on this desk of mine! But, to be honest, I have been winging it. Tonight, we are having calzones filled with pepperoni and cheese. Tomorrow may be patty melts with tater tots. I'll post back later when I find that menu! Nice to ''see'' you on here, again!

I had to pull together a menu since I want to go grocery shopping tomorrow and be done until after Christmas. (or at least just be able to throw a few bucks at somebody and send them out for something simple like milk or bananas!).
Dec. 14th: Ham & Bean Soup
Dec. 15th: Chicken Fettucini Alfredo, Broccoli, Salad
Dec. 16th: leftover soup or pasta
Dec. 17th: Tacos, Refried Beans, Salad
Dec. 18th: Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Salad
Dec. 19th: Leftovers
Dec. 20th: picking up son from airport around dinner time (2 1/2 hrs. away) so will grab something out.
Dec. 21st: Chicken Verde Macaroni and Cheese, Veggie, Salad
Dec. 22nd: Chicken Tamale Casserole
Dec. 23rd: At my parents for Christmas, so we will eat there.
Dec. 24th: Turkey dinner with all the fixin's
Dec. 25th: Big Breakfast/Brunch, Mexican for dinner
Dec. 26th: Leftovers
Dec. 27th: Christmas with Hubby's family, so we will eat there
Thanks for posting Maleesa! Got me in gear to focus long enough to come up with mine!

Hi, Pam. Your menu sounds really good. I need to get where I can make a couple weeks menu then maybe move back onto a month again. Saves me money to keep me out of the stores. Could you share this Chicken Verde Macaroni and Cheese please? Sounds interesting.

I need to stay out of the stores too! Especially this time of year!!
Since my college son is home, and my South Carolina son will be here for 10 days,
I figured that I had better be putting something hearty on the table!
Here is the Chicken Verde Macaroni & Cheese recipe.

Thanks Pam. That sounds great! My boys are 15 and almost 20 and they eat a lot and so does my husband. I try to make hearty meals but pocket book friendly :)

This looks good, Pam. Can you tell me the difference between "regular" salsa and salsa verde? Could I substitute regular salsa in this recipe?
Thanks!

I made this Chicken and Bows recipe yesterday, and it was a hit! I omitted the red peppers, but otherwise followed the recipe "as is." Everyone said this is a keeper!

I'm going to add it to my menu rotation.

That chicken and bows recipe looks good Jennie! Thanks for sharing the recipe
Salsa Verde is green salsa. It is a little more mild and tangy than a traditional salsa.
It is made with tomatillos as opposed to regular red tomatoes. I'm sure you could substitute any salsa with good results.
I might try that as well sometime. Good idea!
:)

Thanks, Pam. I'll have to give your recipe a try. I'm looking for more "comfort food" recipes.

love all your menus
I seriously need to sit down and plan this out --- running around like a crazy lady has NOT been working out in the no planning dinner phase. Need to seriously do something about that.
Monday 12/22 - mashed potatoes, chicken and green beans
Tuesday 12/23 -
Wed 12/24 - my inlaws house --- I will bring a taco dip and not sure what else yet
Thurs 12/25 - Christmas Fettuccine with black forest ham
Fri 12/26 - trying to decide if I will drive to my family reunion in Canada, this will really determine what happens but if I don't it will be pizza
Sat 12/27 -
and that is as far as I have gotten ;D
