Anyone still checking in?

Just thought I'd drop in and say "hi" and see if anyone still checks now and then to even see that. I do at least a couple times per week, but with no posts, don't usually say anything myself.

How are things in your area with the coronavirus stuff happening? Here, kids are out of school till April 6th as of last update. Maddy, oldest, is home from OU on Spring Break and knew before heading home that they'd be doing online classes for 2 weeks after the break. However, last night, that was updated to the rest of the school year.

People have been very civil when I've ventured to the store. Trying to keep that to a minimum (store) but had my prescriptions refilled and will pick up a few odds and ends if Target has them when I go in for the prescriptions.

Hope all is well with y'all and your families.

Hi Catherine and anyone who is reading. I do still check in regularly, but don’t start a thread because I’ll be disappointed if no one replies!

We are e-learning and working at home, and trying to get into a workable daily routine. With lots of years of homeschooling under our belts, it should hopefully be a smooth transition.

DH goes out of the house as needed, and the rest of us have been staying at home. We have been getting our groceries, etc. via pickup. There are quantity limits (as there should be), but I still get about 2/3 of the items I order. I feel bad for the retailers who are closing their stores for now and losing that revenue.

Thanks for starting this thread! I hope others will join in as they are able!

Hello, ladies!

I check in from time to time but haven’t posted either.  Emily is out of school until April 3 or 6, can’t really remember.  Every day is like the movie Groundhog Day because I get up and do the exact same thing each day.  I was already pretty much a homebody, but now even more so.  I’ve only been out two times in the past two weeks to get some groceries we needed and to go to the doctor.

Tony is still getting to work but I’m not sure how much longer he will get to.  He is in the construction business and people aren’t going to want work done if they aren’t sure how much longer they will have money for such things.  Other than Emily being out of school not much has changed around my little world.  We have started some seeds and are planning our garden.  Trying to make the best of things and stay busy.

Cheryl:
Just curious if anyone is still checking in here?

Hi, Cheryl,

Just came to do the same. Guess not. :/
