I ordered my herb books last weekend. I have been following their tracking. They went from Hebron, KY to Kansas City, KS; then to Council Bluffs, IA (which goes right past us), then St. Joseph, MO (past us again). So I figured they would be here tomorrow. Hmmm, now they say they are in Kansas City, KS again. :o So they will either go back to St. Joe and on to Oregon, or all the way back to Council Bluffs. LOL I think someone needs to help the postal service figure out their routes. LOL ::)

LOL! I ordered material and thread from Connecting Threads and I live 1 hour away from Columbus. That's where it is shipped from. Same thing it went to PA, back to Ohio and then to me! took like 5 days between all the drop off stops!!

Pixie, I live an hour south of Columbus! I love going thrift store shopping there!

This has nothing to do with the postal service but we have something similar happening with our bread. We have a bakery on Main Street that is owned by Bimbo bakery which makes Entemmans, Arnold, Earthgrain and Sara Lee brands to name a few. The "brains" in the company have decided to fire all the truck drivers that have local routes. The plan is to haul all of the bread an hour and a half away to be loaded in delivery trucks and then be sent back up here to be delivered to the stores. By the time all of that is accomplished, the bread will be at least 2 days old.
What sense does that make?? It's no wonder our country is in the shape it's in....

My books were supposed to be delivered today. Of course they weren't. They went from Kentucky to KC, KS, to Council Bluffs, IA, to St. Joe, MO to KC, KS, to Council Bluffs, IA, and are now in St. Joe again. I hope they will come to Oregon next, then on to me. They have entered 21 stops or departures in the tracking. :o I am beginning to think I should stick with ebooks. ::)

Winona! wow, that doesn't make sense at all!!!!
Beth, wow! that is hard to understand, I personally am a date reader on everything grocery! I make bread but not often enough but that would make me bake it more!! Sara Lee honey wheat is my favorite bread!!! It's $2.99 loaf here....
Bobbie, I've never done thrift shopping there....although I love Marc's in Westerville!!!!

Finally got my herb books. They had a lovely tour of the midwest. LOL Only 3 days late. Worth the wait though. I have already read 'Medicinal Herbs, a Beginner's Guide' by Rosemary Gladstar. I feel like I have learned a lot. ;D
Blessings,
Winona
