I found this link on one of the blogs I follow and thought it might interest some of you here.  It's instructions (quite detailed) on how to build your own solar panels.

Rooney:
We are installing these to offset the electricity the greenhouse will use.  We are using a kit though due to time constraints.  Lower electric bill anyway you go.  If anyone would like to see pictures once hubby gets started on this part, let me know.

Shelly:
I would love to see pictures and hear of your experiences.  We're hoping/planning to have our farm in about 3 years and I'd like to do something like this.
