Good morning. We've had several cloudy days in a row, so it's nice to have some sunshine today! My day is the usual - laundry, library, and grocery store. I hope to make some time to cut out two quilted Christmas table runners for my mom and MIL.
We had a lovely Thanksgiving with the kids. I ended up keeping the menu very simple, and it was nice. Without so much hands-on food prep, we were able to focus on each other and had lots of good conversations and laughter. This is definitely my new approach to holidays!
Dinner tonight is chicken noodle soup and drop biscuits.
