We are having the craziest Christmas and rather difficult.
We lost our power during the night Wed. due to some hard winds. We spent two nights in the cold and this morning I needed to call off Christmas dinner at my house. My parents were going to come over for dinner but instead I took all my refrigerated foods and brought it to their house where we were going to spend the day. Only about 30 seconds after I left my house to bring the stuff to my parents' house our power came back on so I loaded the stuff back up and brought everything home. We had a ton of cleaning to do before church--dirty toilets, piles of dishes, cold family and pets. So we barely made it to church (unshowered). I did make dinner and we had a good dinner with my parents and so it turned out ok. Spending two nights and one day without power is not fun especially on Christmas Eve.
