I've been on the gluten free train for about 2 years...... and the dairy free train as well (all except for yogurt) When it was just me, it was fine, I would just not eat the bread, pancakes, muffins or whatever everyone else was eating and eat a salad and a baked meat of some kind instead. But now that one of my kids is having issues too, it isn't that easy. They still want spaghetti, and macaroni and cheese, and bread and especially the pancakes and muffins. Been using some of the rice pastas lately to substitute in and that seems to help, but with the other stuff, it means cooking separate meals for different people....urgh!
Hey Cathie, if you like yummy treats, their is one I buy (yeah, it is pre-made) but for some reason it doesn't bother me like all the other wheat stuff does. Alternative Baking Company Cookies.....try the double chocolate decadence heated up in the oven or microwave, but I am warning you.....once you do, you can't go back!!
They are that good!
