We have recently been watching Moore Family Films. They are actually documentaries. You can buy them or download from their site. These have been very encouraging for our family.

We watched this last night. We really enjoyed it.

Forks Over Knives. It is playing on Netflix currently. This is an AMAZING documentary on the benefits of the plant-based diet. It may just change the way you eat!

Not a new documentary, but watched Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead 1 and 2 with hubby. We are in the mode of watching things to inspire better health lately. I thought the first one was the better of the two, but both are really good.

We took the kids to see Paddington last Friday. Super cute and I don't usually enjoy kids' movies. :)

Dolphin Tale is a good clean family movie, and it is a true story. There is a Dolphin Tale 2, but we haven't seen it yet.

We saw McFarland USA recently.
Really good movie. We enjoyed it.
Right up our alley. Sports movie based on a true story!

It comes to our small town theatre this weekend. I really want to see it

These aren't movies, but if you are into "survivalist" type shows they are soooo good. Mountain Men (2 seasons) and Hillbilly Blood (1 season), both are streaming on Netflix. :) Amazingly interesting! Hubby and I are both hooked. ;)

We watched Big Hero 6 last night. It was pretty good :)

Not a movie, per se, but we have been enjoying the When Calls the Heart series on Netflix (season 1). I think Season 2 is on TV now or just ending. It has been years since I read the books, but it seems to me that they kind of merged one of her more recent books (can't remember the name but read it a year or two back, about the girl who went to teach school in a coal-mining town) with the actual Janette Oke series that is actually named When Calls the Heart. Need to look into that a little more.
Okay, found it...this is the book that the show seems more like, at least in the first season, actually written by Janette along with someone else, presumably a daughter: http://bakerpublishinggroup.com/books/where-courage-calls/350910
