Happy Wednesday,

Wow! What a difference a day makes! We're 20 degrees colder today than yesterday. And breezy! Quite chilly out there.

Absolutely nothing going on in my world. But that is February--it's winter and cold and we really can't do anything and the sad thing is we're not done with winter yet.

We're just plain old BLAH right now. Meals are boring, life is boring but when spring comes around, we'll all be much happier!

Chicken in the crockpot tonight with a batch of homemade seasoning that I found online. I hope it tastes good in the crockpot. I might have to put it under the broiler for a bit when I get home. Probably a salad to go with it though it will be a bare bones salad since I only have carrots, celery and hard boiled eggs. I would love some tomatoes or cucumbers but sadly that grocery run won't happen. We'll be good with what we have.

Hi Alice.
Hope your chicken and salad satisfies!

It is already almost 3:00.  I am kind of off my day today.

Went to weight watchers, walked 4 miles, and then grabbed a quick lunch with my friend.  We have missed walking the past 2 weeks, so it was good to get that in.  And, I finally got back to the weight I need to be at to got to meetings for free!  It has been such a struggle for the past 3 months.  Glad to be back to free.  Now I have to make sure I don't go off the rails between now and the time we go to Florida!  I am free for February.  So, that is like one more week.  ::)  So, I will hold on, and then weigh in on the first Sunday or Monday in March to stay at the free status.

Made an appointment for a physical.  The dr's office called me and said I was due, so I scheduled it.  I have not been to the dr in 2 years, so I guess it is time for a quick check up.  Not my favorite thing to do.  Have to go have labs done the week prior, so will have to figure that out scheduling wise.  Will be a fasting test, so need to plan that out ahead.

I also have jury duty the week I need to do the labs, so that will play into when I can go.

I agree Alice.  February stinks!  It's what I call the "ugly" season in MI.  Bare trees, muddy ground, any snow that is left around is filthy.  It's just gross.  And the sun rarely shines.  I will be glad to head south in 2 weeks.  Hoping the sun is shining down there!
I realized today, that we went out to the show on Valentine's Day, and I had not left my house again until this morning.  Wow, that kind of sums up February in a nutshell!  I didn't need to go anywhere, so why would I??

Hope everyone else is enjoying a little sunshine!  I am desperate for it!!   ;)
Fill us in on your happenings!

Ohhhhhhh, Lindsay,

How terrible of all those bad things! I can't even imagine.  So, it sounds like you had your rib diagnosed as dislocated.

That flu.....bad stuff. I think I heard that there was a round one and then a round two.  I am so thankful that we have avoided it so far. Praying that it doesn't find us.

I'll pray for you guys and hopefully March will bring sunshine, joy, and healing to everyone!

Lindsay: were you able to get your rib popped back into place by the chiropractor?

Hope things start looking up for you and all of your family.  Try to stay healthy.  That flu is nothing to laugh at.  Be careful.  Hope hubby's arm starts to mend properly with no more setbacks.

Sorry to hear about your Father in law.

Will keep you all in my prayers!
