We went to a nice birthday party for Kevin's Aunt Joan on April 19th. She turned 80, so her kids threw a party for her. They requested no gifts, but I wanted to do something for her. She and I have become close since Kevin's uncle passed about 2 1/2 years ago. I already had the applique fused down, so I did a machine blanket stitch around each piece. Then I hand quilted it. It only took me a couple of evenings. She loved it.
