Cool clothesline idea
« on: December 05, 2014, 01:37:14 PM »
A lady from church is in Mexico for a speaking engagement.  She is staying with the local pastor and his family and posted a picture of their clothesline a little bit ago.  They hang the clothes without clothespins!  What they do is twist two piece of twine/thin rope together and hang that for the line.  To hang clothes, they just separate the twist a bit, stick the clothing shoulders or whatever it will hang by through, then let the twist go back together, if that makes sense.  It holds the clothing in place.  Now I'd like to try it!

I've seen that technique used to trellis tomatoes.  It's called the Florida Weave.

I've never thought about using it to hang clothes.  Neat idea  ;D

That sounds like a great application, too!  This technique may change my life, lol.

Thank you Laurie. This is his last week in the Marines and he'll be home permanently. Then it will be full steam ahead on the wedding plans!
