....at least for now. I have missed you all so much. I am back for a few reasons. This is sort of a birthday gift for me. Our oldest daughter, Carolyn is going to India on a missions trip in a week and we would like to be able to keep in touch with her. We got a nice tax refund. So we are taking a leap of faith! Kevin still has not found anything, but we are counting on him finding something this month. If not, I may be disappearing again.
I want to thank you all so much for the birthday cards! Oh my, I was almost in tears as I read your cards and letters. I received 14 birthday cards. I have never received even a fraction of that many before. It was a blessed day. I also received 8 calls for my birthday. It was a special day even though I did nothing special.
I hope to catch up with you all in the coming couple of weeks. I have gotten a lot done in the past month or so. I am doing much better on my knitting. I have finished, 2 crocheted shawls, one knitted cowl, and almost done with 2 knitted scarves. I have 2 other crocheted shawls started. So as you can see, I have stayed busy. Feb. was our worst month of the winter. We received lots of snow and very frigid temps. But I can see spring in the air. I have started my sweet potatoes in jars of water, but decided to hold out on starting my seeds. Last year, I started them mid March and they got very leggy. I plan to wait till the end of March this year.
I wish I lived close enough to give you all a hug. You are like sisters/nieces to me. I love you all. Thank you so much for being there for me. I am so proud to have such wonderful friends!
