List of skills
« on: March 08, 2015, 09:00:39 PM »
Hi ladies,

My church congregation leaders have been asked to survey our congregation adults to make a list of skills/knowledge and equipment/tools that could be used to help each other in case of emergency.  This isn't just related to natural disasters but other situations such as if a husband lost his job and the family needed some help with minor house repairs or that sort of thing.

I have started a list, which is copied below, and I'd like your input on any other things that you think should be added.  I'm trying to make it comprehensive without being overly complicated and listing things that wouldn't really be that useful in an emergency or urgent situation.  Thanks for your input!

Looks like you have it pretty well covered. Have you thought about adding needle arts like crocheting and knitting? In hard times it would be great to know how to knit/crochet hats, scarves, mittens, etc.
