Mother's Day

What would you suggest as a good flower to buy your mother/grandmother?  Preferably something in a hanging basket or something that can be planted in a flower garden and is affordable?  Or.....if you have any other gift ideas, feel free to list those as well.  Yep, I'm a last minute shopper. ;) :)

Ha that's what I bought yesterday. 2 hanging baskets 1 for each of our moms. I do it every year. This way it lasts all summer for them. I ended up buying at Sams club of all places. I bought a pretty large one and I think they were $28.98 each
