August menus

My meal plan for August 3 - 16

Monday - spaghetti, garlic bread, and salad
Tuesday - cube steak with gravy, green beans, mashed potatoes
Wednesday - hamburgers, potato chips
Thursday - Philly cheesesteak stuffed peppers, another vegetable(?)
Friday - pizza
Saturday - fiesta chicken, refried beans, rice
Sunday - grilled hotdogs, baked beans

Monday - chicken and dumplings
Tuesday - cocktail smokies with barbecue sauce, salad
Wednesday - club sandwiches
Thursday - beans and smoked sausage, cornbread
Friday - pizza
Saturday - fajitas
Sunday - Orange chicken, rice, egg rolls

Monday- Slow cooker cube steak with mushrooms and onions with mashed potatoes and carrots on the side.

Tuesday- Hot dogs, watermelon, chips and corn on the cop.

Wednesday- Fried rice with mixed veggies and spring rolls on the side.

Thursday- Hard shell and soft shell tacos with chips, salsa and homemade guacamole on the side.

Friday- Beef roast, mashed potatoes, carrots and homemade bread.

Saturday- Ham sandwiches using left over sliced ham I have in the freezer and bought some onion buns to make them yummy with a pasta salad on the side.

Sunday- Left overs or will pick that day.

Menu August 17-30

Monday - slow cooker chicken noodle soup
Tuesday - BLTs, chips, ranch dip
Wednesday - oven baked chicken wings, squash fritters, cabbage
Thursday - beefy bbq beans, cheese biscuits
Friday - pizza
Saturday - Salad Ole Mexico
Sunday - corndogs, corn on the cob, applesauce

Monday - Tomato soup, grilled cheese sandwiches
Tuesday - sloppy joes, French fries
Wednesday - slow cooker cube steak with mushroom gravy, green beans, broccoli
Thursday - bacon chicken crescent ring, salad with homemade ranch dressing
Friday - pepperoni and cheese stromboli
Saturday - Mexican pizzas
Sunday - grilled steaks, baked potatoes, steamed broccoli and zucchini

These 2 weeks look very heavy on "kid-friendly" meals.  That's what happens when you get an 11 yr.old to help menu plan. ;)

Menu August 10th-16th-

 

Monday-

Beef roast. mashed potatoes, carrots, onions and sautéed green beans.

 

Tuesday-

Crockpot Cheese burger soup, Using up left over buns for garlic bread. New recipe.

 

Wednesday-

Frozen pizza's doctored up and on the grill.

 

Thursday-

Hamburgers with cheese and sautéed onions, Tot's & Fries and sautéed snap peas.

 

Friday-

Grilled hot dogs with chili, Parmesan pasta salad.

 

Saturday-

Chicken Lo Mein & Spring rolls.

 

Sunday-

Dinner at the In laws BBQ baby back ribs, Potato Salad, BBQ beans, Corn on the cob, Cole Slaw and Jello Salads. And dessert.

I have a list of meals. I will keep going down the list and making them until the list is used up :) . Using up lots of things on hand. August 19th-31st.

 

1-Meat balls in cream of mushroom soup, boiled potatoes, cucumbers in vinegar & yogurt ( Last night)

2-Using up 4-5 large cans of veggie soup with cooked sausage and homemade garlic bread using up buns. ( Tonight)

3-Frozen pizza's doctored up on the grill ( First time doing this).

4-Pasta with sausage meat sauce, Green beans, Garlic bread.

5-Taco's with soft shells, tomato, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, salsa and avocado.

6-Grilled chicken thighs & Legs, Baked potatoes or scalloped potatoes and veggie.

7-Tator tot casserole with salad.

8-Cheese Burgers, Fruit Salad, Stuffed banana peppers with cheese on the grill.

9-Zucchini bacon soup ( never had it before) with garlic bread OR might have some other soup? Still with things I have on hand.

10-Lazy man lasagna, Green beans and garlic bread ( Lots of garlic bread in this list. Nice cheap filler).

11-Beef Roast, Mashed potatoes, Carrots.

12-Sweet and sour chicken ( Need to run this by the guys and see if they will like it or make the chicken another way), Chicken Rice and Salad.

13-Beef Stroganoff over egg noodles and green beans.
