5-ingredient Recipe Suggestions
« on: September 02, 2015, 08:59:20 PM »
I am looking for 5-ingredient (or fewer) recipes that are simple to prepare and use relatively common ingredients. Thanks in advance for sharing your favorites!

I live on 5 ingredient recipes!
one of our fav's is:
cubed meat (pork or chicken)
put one egg in the mix...stir it up real good
then pan fry til golden, stir as needed
add
any of the following:
onions,
diced tomatos (canned)
can of green enchilada sauce
and any thing you want
I serve over hashbrowns...mmmm mmmm good!

chicken breast
mix equal amounts of mayo and parmesean (toss some garlice and basil in)
plop on top of chicken and bake 375 til golden brown and your nose is in joy at the aroma!
I serve over noodles with spinach

I made this and froze it so not sure about the end results
Speghetti Bake
I used leftover speghetti and meatballs (smooshed the meatballs with a potato smasher) lol
noodles and milk and egg tomorrow is the test! lol

Thanks for these ideas, Anne. I need to simplify our meals overall - breakfast for dinner, etc. Of course now that it's getting cooler, I can use the crock pot more as well which is always a big help in meal prep.

How was the spaghetti bake? I love Taste of Home recipes.
