Pot rack
« on: January 28, 2016, 03:54:40 PM »
I found a pot rack that I like a couple of months ago in a thrift store.  It was under $20 and included the chains and hooks, so I bought it.  I still haven't hung it up.  I guess I'm trying to decide whether to keep it or not.

I use mostly cast iron cookware with a few stainless steel pieces.  Storage is an issue, and digging things out of the lower cabinets is becoming a pain.  I would like to have everything in one location, but cast iron is heavy.  Not sure I want it hanging overhead.   ;)

Do any of you have a hanging rack for your cookware, and if you do, do you like it?

I do and I hang my cast iron on it.  I have 2 large skillets, one with a lid, a double griddle and a smaller skillet.  Then I also have my stainless pots on it as well.  I've never had a problem.  It's bolted into the ceiling.
