Good Morning Ladies!!
I have been on a whirlwind of crazy as of late! Just busy, busy with everything that everyone needs me to do for them!
Finally got my Dad home from the hospital. (his 5-7 day hospital stay ended up being 20 days with small complications that kept him there.) That was a lot of stress for all of us. But he is home now, and seems to be doing pretty good.
This past weekend was nuts! (in a good way). Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood had there World tour here in town. We ended up going to 3 of the 6 shows. Because of hubby's job. - he is in the media, so he was "working", but we had a great time! We had only planned on opening night, but things just fell into place for the other shows.
Yesterday we also went over to Holland, Mi as The Tulip Time Festival had ended Saturday. The tulips were pretty much on the end of their legs, but it was still a nice afternoon. Very cold and windy for May though. We actually had snow in the morning.
This week is going to be another bunch of crazy! This afternoon I am meeting hubs in Battle Creek at the casino. Something for his work. We are spending the night there.
Tomorrow we have to be back pretty early for some appointments & such, and then out to dinner with some friends.
Wednesday son's college baseball team starts in the playoffs (fingers crossed), and hubby will be in Detroit at the Tigers game for work.
Thursday we have a semi-normal maybe we can eat dinner at home kind of day (probably a good day to do laundry for me)
Friday we are going to The Phantom of the Opera (hubby - work).
Saturday we have an event downtown for Hospice of Michigan, and hubby has some other event he needs to be at after that at the local raceway.
Maybe Sunday we can catch our breath!! It is kind of an unusually busy week. I am hoping I can keep up!
Hope everyone has been well, and has a great day! (and week if I don't get back here this week!)
Pam
