Sock finds a mate after 2 years of solitary living
« on: October 14, 2013, 01:34:55 PM »
I knit the one on the right 2.5 years ago.  The left, finished last night.  They are very happy together in my sock drawer.  Rumors of some baby socks are floating around.  (i.e. I have some of the sock yarn left over and maisie and Liam will be getting tiny pairs)   ;)

Very pretty and cheerful!  If only it WERE that easy to replicate hand-knit socks, lol.

Very pretty! My DD knits wool socks for me, and they're always my favorites. What kind of yarn did you use? Great job!!

Love these!  I second the 'which yarn?' question.  Was it self-patterning?

Well, I thought I posted on this yesterday, but I must have forgotten to hit post. LOL Shelly, very cool socks. To learn to knit socks is still on my bucket list. It has been for several years. I have everything I need to do it, just afraid to start. LOL You did a wonderful job. I am sure they are very comfy.  ;D
