Heating with a fireplace?
« on: November 21, 2013, 02:00:17 PM »
If you heat your house with a fireplace does your house or clothes smell like you were sitting around a bon fire? I have smell and breathing issues and want to know what to expect before living with a fireplace, I love the idea of one just want to know if its realistic for me. Thanks

Probably the best way to know is to see if you are allergic to wood smoke. Could you visit someone with a fireplace? Then you might know.

I have been around fires outdoors and I guess it depends whats being burnt on how I react, I guess im wondering if most of the smell goes out the chimney and if so does it only do that if you have an electric fan or do older regular chimneys work too.
