Good Morning

Today I have the accounting program guy coming to check over my books. We are in this class with a votech for seeing whether you are making a profit or losing money and where you need to improve. I didnt want to do the program but DH did. ugh Time consuming because I have to put the whole years worth a different program and I have it all in quicken. So far DH hasnt done any work but that will change today I will make sure of it.  Today is also the last day of nice temperatures. 57 then 20s then 9 by friday. Lots going on basketball games, tournerys, birthday parties, baby showers, besides all the normal stuff. I want to start making some christmas presents also.  We have the outside decorated for Christmas and the trees are up but not decorated. Tonight we will finish that so we can get boxes put away. My bedroom needs to be cleaned also. I wrote a whole post without an interruption. Better get it posted

Have a great day

Janice

Good morning Janice.  :D  I remember when Sam was self employed as a truck driver and I had to keep up with all the bookwork.  UGH.  I was a nervous wreck when it came tax time.  That's a lot of pressure, good luck with the accounting guy today.

Good morning everyone else.  :D

Today is an odd day with the potential of being a very sad day.  :-\  My parent's best friends for 40+ years are Greg and Karen.  Greg and Karen were at the beach over Thanksgiving and on Friday night, Karen collapsed.  After a very hard weekend at the hospital, they found out that she has brain damage and she can't breathe on her own.  They are doing an EEG today and that will "tell the tale".  Greg may have to make a very hard decision today.  So sad.  Their children, my parents and our pastor are all down there with Greg.

While I wait on an update from my Mom, I am going room by room through my entire house, straightening up.  After the long weekend with everybody off of work on odd days and Lainey out of school, the house is one big disaster.  I also need to go throught the refridgerator and freeze the leftovers that weren't eaten this weekend.

I guess I"ll go.  I need to get Downy in the wash and take a pan of scraps to the chickens.

Supper tonight is breakfast foods of some kind.

Thank you for the prayers.

The results of Karen's EEG weren't good.  She has only 10% brain function.  Her kidneys are still functioning and her heart is beating but that's it.  Mama said her eyes were void, no life at all in them, like looking at a mannequin.  Sooo sad.  The doctor told Greg that they would do another EEG tomorrow and see if there was any change and if there wasn't, some hard decisions were going to have to be made.

Oh mercy.  Such a sad situation.

Oh Beth, that is so sad.  I'll be praying for them. :(

Do the doctors know why she collapsed?

No, there has been no reason given.

This is a lady that I've known almost my entire life.  Our families vacationed together, shopped together, celebrated together, etc.  My parents and Greg and Karen just bought a beach house together at Myrtle Beach and had planned to spend their retirement years there.  That's where Greg and Karen were when she collapsed.

What a beautiful smile she has - we are all praying for her and especially for her husband.  How tragic.
