Just thought I'd check on you. 

It just came to me that you said you and Jean were going into NYC for your work and to see the parade.  Then I remembered you said something about possibly travelling by train. 

Then I heard about the train wreck. 

You ok? 

I don't know the specifics of the train wreck other than it was in New York.   Just thought I'd check on you.

I am so obviously not Mandy 😄 but I think she had a change of plans.  I know she was in Philadelphia over the weekend for a wedding and that she and Jean drove here so I do not think she was on the train.  So I do not think you have anything to worry about!

WOW, your memory is FANTASTIC!  I am home, safe and sound.  Thank you for thinking of us!  We ended up not going to NYC last week after all; we will probably go up in two weeks instead.  We didn't even hear about the accident until after we got home from the aforementioned wedding in Philly!  Scary stuff!

On a related note, we had a WONDERFUL time at the wedding!  It was a black-tie, Jewish/Italian interfaith wedding at a gorgeous venue, and the wedding hotel was a super-hip property right in front of the Liberty Bell.  Of course, you know me, I have to share a few pics :)
