We are getting past the polar vortex or whatever. It is 15 and feels like 1. Loving that these are above 0 temps. It is suppose to be in 20s today and gradually getting warmer. Cant wait. I am already working on bookwork and hope to get lots accomplished today with out as many distractions but it never goes that way.I need to order DDs books for next semester (I didnt even think about it and she mentions it yesterday. urgh I am the one who likes to do things ahead of time).  I will go in tonight to pick up DD from practice at 6 and the older kids have religion tonight.  Thankful that DDs practice doesnt start at 6.  Have laundry going but not the dishes so will do that as I head for more coffee. So exciting. HA I will leave now to keep boring you with my boring day...

Have a great day
Janice

Where is everybody? Lol probably in their warm beds! Even though it is almost 8 pm here.

Today started horrible but ended well. I had to go to the doctor and she was not pleased with my A1c results. Almost 10!  So now I have to meet a diabetes specialist and learn how to properly eat, etc. I thought I was doing well, but guess not.

I had lunch with my sister and done my best to eat healthy, as healthy as I could for eating out anyways. I havent had any sugar since Saturday, but my biggest problem is starches. If you think of it, please say a quick prayer that I will get this under control.

To make me feel better, Chad took me to our local craft mall. I LOVE THAT PLACE!  I got out of there quickly though with just spending 20 bucks. That twenty bucks was a christmas gift from my mom. I spent it well.

Then we came home and relaxed and had a decent evening. Oh, I also went to Sam's and got a 18 pack of powerade zero for 6 bucks! I thought that was a steal. I get tired of crystal light so I thought this powerade zero would be a good change for a while.

Our cold snap is about over too. It is 24 here. Got up to 32 today! It felt like spring! Well not really, but ya know.

Hope you all have a good evening!
