Vertigo
« on: March 31, 2014, 08:35:01 AM »
Is anyone familiar with this? I woke up very dizzy for the last four days and I can't even walk straight. My eyes can't seem to do anything but go around in circles and that's what makes me so dizzy. I can't say I feel sick anywhere else but today maybe a little sick to my stomach and my head aches from trying to focus. I've been hearing people say vertigo but could my eyes be going funky? Is there a home remedy for vertigo? I went to urgent care and they were so slow that after three hours, no one came to help us so my husband said we had to leave as he needed to get the kids back to school and we was ready to begin on-call at work.

I would like to hear from anyone who has ever experienced this as I can't even trust myself to drive and I walk like a drunk.

Could it be an inner ear infection?  I have had episodes like this but it was caused by a migraine and didn't last that long.  If you still have it, I would go to the doctor or to urgent care.

I went to the dr. late afternoon and failed the vertigo test which I suppose is good. The nurse looked in both my ears and said she saw cloudiness which she said was pressure in both my ears. She suggested I take a good dose of allergy meds. The doctor came in and said that what the nurse saw was just a normal shininess in my ear and that she was wrong at least three times that day. He said my ears were normal. He said he really doesn't know what the problem is but to try a med. they use for dizzyness (and vertigo symptoms) and if I doesn't go away I would have to see a balance specialist. I took 2 pills and so far no difference. I'm very tired/sleepy even before I took the meds and I still have a headache. Still hanging in there as I hope it just goes away as quickly as it came.
