Depends on if we get to camping or not...still watching the weather for the end of next week.  If so, I will make just the basics ahead of time and reheat it camping.  If we're home, the usual menu is:

Turkey
Dressing
Mashed potatoes
Sweet Potato Casserole
Green Bean Casserole (sometimes, not always)
Squash Casserole (again, not always)
Cranberries
Gravy
Rolls (generally if we have company and I'm trying to fill a lot of people up)
Pies (pumpkin, pecan, sometimes cherry or chocolate)

This year it's just Jean and I for Thanksgiving day, but I still plan to make a special meal, just on a smaller scale :).  I've planned:

Bacon-wrapped Chicken Breast (from Aldi)
Sweet Corn Spoonbread
Mashed Potatoes
Bacon & Brussels Sprout Salad
Green Beans
Cranberry Sauce
King's Hawaiian Rolls
Pumpkin Buckle

I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!

Pumpkin buckle sounds very good.  I have never heard of it! And the sweet corn spoonbread sounds amazing!

I haven't made either before, but both sounded good!  Jean had pinned both recipes on Pinterest, so I thought I'd give them a try.

We are having:
turkey
dressing
mashed potatoes
sweet potatoes (as Linda said, with that gooey stuff on top LOL)
green beans and bacon
baked corn casserole
cranberry sauce
hawaiian rolls ( love leftover turkey sandwiches on these little rolls)
gravy
pumpkin pies with cool whip
apple crisp
That is for my dinner with my in laws which we are having on Wednesday.
On Thanksgiving my sister is hosting and I am taking:
macaroni salad
sweet potatoes
mashed potatoes
baked beans
green bean casserole
pumpkin trifle
pumpkin pies
custard pie
pumpkin sheet cake with cream cheese frosting.
There will be lots of people at my sisters so me, my mom and sister are teaming up to cover the whole dinner.  LUCKILY, I have a drs appointment in the morning regarding my 3 month A1c checkup and other blood work. I wanted to get it out of the way before I consume some of this food! Lord, I pray my A1c is down. I have been trying so hard!
